Project Management

The University Technology Project Management Office (PMO) is the liaison between IT and the CWRU community for all technology related projects. The PMO provides an enterprise-wide approach to identify, prioritize, track, and successfully execute a technology portfolio of initiatives and projects aligned with CWRU’s strategic goals and plans of academic and administrative units as determined by IT and University leadership.

The PMO staff collaborate in cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives within scope, budget and timeline. The Project Managers assigned are responsible for the following:

  • Define the scope and deliverables
  • Coordinate with vendors contracted to complete the implementation 
  • Identify the work and resources required to achieve delivery of the technology
  • Maintain any key deliverables associated with the project
  • Manage project risks and issues including mitigation plans and escalation paths
  • Assist in outlined testing, training and change management plans
