Science Cafe

Science Cafe Webpage Banner

Science Cafe is a monthly educational series that gathers together scientists, investigators, trainees, and community members to engage in meaningful discussions aimed at forging new collaborations through common interests in exciting areas of research.

Every month will feature a new research focus, content expert, fresh perspectives, and a chance to discover uncharted territories in the world of science. Each Science Cafe will begin with our content expert discussing their own work and potential areas of collaboration.

The sessions will be relatively unstructured to promote conversation and collaborative thinking with the goal of uncovering overlapping interests on that topic. For example, Long COVID can result in multi-organ complications thus resulting in increased risk of new health conditions. So, a vast array of disciplines would benefit from attending the Science Cafe.

Upcoming Events:

Science Cafes are held via Zoom on the second Thursday of the month at 12:00 PM.*

*Programming dates, times, and speakers are subject to change.
