Jennifer Loudiana, Training Analyst, Information Technology Services
|Jennifer has been at CWRU since November 2009. She has been part of the CAPS team since the planning stages of the program. Jennifer coordinates and oversees all facets of the program from room scheduling to exam proctoring. She is part of the ITS Marketing, Communications and Training team. Jennifer co-instructs the Purchasing, Journals, Cashiering and Financial Inquiry classes.|
Kristen Kolenz, Training Analyst, Information Technology Services
|Kristen has been with CWRU since 2007. She is currently a training analyst for the Marketing, Communications and Training group of ITS. In her professional history she has taught high school English, recruited students for the University of Mount Union, and served as a database specialist. She provides administrative and organizational support to CAPS.|
David Elliott, Manager, ERP Financials
|David is one of the managers in the ERP Financials system group. He has been employed at CWRU since 1999 and with the finance group since 2007. His primary responsibility is coordinating technical efforts and project management with the PeopleSoft Financials, EPM Budgeting and HCM for the payroll office. He teaches ABCs of Financials and Financial Cashiering classes.|
Krystina Schmidt, Assistant Controller, General & Capital Asset Accounting
|Krystina is an Assistant Controller for General and Capital Asset Accounting. She has been with Case since February 2010. Prior to Case, she was an audit and accounting manager at Skoda Minotti and auditor at Chrysler Financial Services. She holds an M.B.A. degree and is Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Krystina co-instructs the ABCs of Financials class.|
Diane Domanovics, Assistant Vice President for Research
|Diane is the Assistant Vice President for Research in the office of Sponsored Projects Administration. She and her office handle all Pre and Post Award financial matters related to federal and non-federal research grants and contracts, including effort reporting. Her extensive experience in grants management, audits, PeopleSoft and all phases of pre- post award administration led to the development of training modules for staff involved in the research grants process. Diane began her career as an accountant in the Controller’s office, and has been with CWRU over 16 years. She advanced through the ranks and was appointed in 1999 as a Grants Accounting Manager in the office of Grants Accounting. In 2003, she and her husband relocated to the warmer climate of South Florida, where she was hired as an Associate Director in the University of South Florida Controller’s office. In 2007 she was promoted to Assistant Controller. That same year, they returned to Cleveland and Diane was hired to serve as the Director for the newly merged offices of Grants Accounting and Sponsored Projects Administration. Diane instructs the Sponsored Projects Fundamentals, Proposal to Award and Cost Transfer classes.|
Robin Trail, Associate Director, Sponsored Projects Administration
|Robin is an Associate Director in the Office of Sponsored Projects Administration. She has over twenty five years experience working in the accounting field at Case. Robin began her career in the University’s Grants Accounting department (presently known as Post Award Administration). She oversees the unit that monitors all post award activities including financial reporting, journal reviews, salary adjustments and closeouts. Robin instructs the Sponsored Projects Project Monitoring and Project Closeout classes.|
Jessica Calvin, Accountant, General Accounting
|Jessica has been an Accountant in the General Accounting department of the Controller’s Office at Case since May 2011. Prior to working at Case she was an external auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers during which she was a team leader on the Case Western Reserve University, Kent State University, University of Akron and Cleveland State University financial statement and A-133 audits. She is an instructor of both the Financial Journals and Financial Reporting and Reconciling classes.|
Christine Damukaitus, Accountant, General Accounting
|Christine has been an Accountant II in the General Accounting department of the Controller’s Office at Case since May 2008. Prior to working at Case she was an Accountant Specialist with Affiliated Computer Service. She is an instructor of both the Financial Journals and Financial Reporting and Reconciling classes.|
Shirley Mosley, Director Organizational Development & Learning, Human Resources
|Shirley Mosley began her career at Case Western Reserve University in 2005 as Department Assistant IV in the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity and transitioned into the role of EEO and Diversity Specialist in 2007. In 2009, she transferred to the Department of Human Resources as Training Analyst in the unit of Organizational Development and Learning (ODL) and was promoted to Manager of ODL in 2010. Since December 2011, she has been the Interim Director of ODL. Shirley received a Master of Arts in Psychology, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Studies from Cleveland State University. She has certifications in Diversity Management from Cleveland State University; Trainer of Managing Workplace Conflict from Mediation Training Institute International; and Emotional and Social Competency Inventory from Hay Group, Weatherhead School of Management. She teaches the Effective Interpersonal Communications class.
Mandy Carte, Asst. Director of Operations, Procurement & Distribution Services
| Mandy has been at CWRU for 4 years in the Procurement & Distributions Services department. Previous to coming to CWRU she worked at the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. She will receive her M.B.A. from CWRU Weatherhead School of Management in 2012. She teaches Purchasing at CWRU from A to Z class.
Jing Li, Manager, ERP Financials
|Jing has been with Case Western Reserve University since 2009. She has over 13 years of PeopleSoft Financials experience with Higher Education and an MBA in Accounting. Her PeopleSoft expertise is across all financial modules, specializing in General Ledger, Financial reporting, Asset Management, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and EPM. In her current position, her main responsibility is to maintain and support the PeopleSoft Financials system. She works closely with ERP financial users across the campus, technical experts in ITS, and PeopleSoft project teams. Jing teaches the Financial Online Inquiry class.
Michael Kurutz, Manager, Travel Services
|Michael has been with CWRU since January 2009. His responsibilities include administration of the American Express Travel and Expense Credit Card program, Peoplesoft Travel and Expense module, preferred travel agency and vendor programs, and travel policy. He has lived, worked, and traveled in 49 states and 26 countries. Michael teaches the All Things Travel class.|
