Inclusive Environment
As affirmed in its diversity statement and strategic plan, Case Western Reserve University places the highest priority on not only a diverse environment but an inclusive one. From its recently established vice president of inclusion, equal opportunity and diversity to its faculty diversity office and from its committee on minority affairs to its human resources programming, the university believes that differences make all the difference.

Quality of Life
Students are at the center of every university, and so Case centers its diversity resources on undergraduate and graduate programs in particular. A Share the Vision committee promotes a just and humane campus. The Office of Multicultural Affairs, Graduate Education Minority Student Programs and International Student Services provide diverse education, experience and entertaiment to improve the quality of life for everyone on campus.

Renowned Programs
Case Western Reserve's renowned programs in diversity include the National Science Foundation-supported ACES (Academic Careers in Engineering & Science) and Women in Science and Engineering. Both further the development of women in traditionally male-dominated areas of science and scholarship, while the university's Flora Stone Mather Center for Women supports both women and men on campus. Case has won accolades for its LGBT assocation as well.

Opportunities to Extend
At Case Western Reserve, opportunities to extend an inclusive environment reach beyond the edge of campus. The university builds diverse partnerships in the University Circle and Cleveland communities—both teeming with variety themselves—and with diverse suppliers across Northeast Ohio.
