Case Western Reserve University is in the midst of dramatic
transformation. In his inaugural address on January 30, 2003,
President Edward Hundert set forth a bold vision for Case, outlining
a plan for our University to become the world’s most powerful
learning environment. He stressed the value of connections,
called for experiential, interdisciplinary approaches to living,
learning, and research, and encouraged the University to forge
productive partnerships with its neighboring institutions. This
Master Plan advocates a twenty-first-century vision for a research
university that will transform both the people who learn, work,
and discover here and the diverse society it serves.
