Credentialing Information—the Commission on Presidential Debates
All media credentials for the 2004 vice presidential debate are the responsibility of the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD).
The CPD will release a notice for press credentials in August. The notice will be posted on the CPD and U.S. Senate Press Gallery Web sites as well as with the AP, UP and Reuters wire services.
All media applying for credentials for the 2004 debates will be required to complete an online accreditation application to be accessed through a link on the CPD Web site. Some will need a login and password, which will be made available to them once the CPD has started the credentialing process.
The application process will require standard professional and personal information as well as a digital photo attachment. This online registration process will be operational in August, with the exact date to be determined and posted on the CPD site.
