15. Biology Building
The Biology Building, now a part of the Agnar
Pytte Center for Science Education and Research, was designed
by Charles Schweinfurth and built to the specifications of
Francis Hobart Herrick, the first professor of biology at Adelbert
College and a nationally known expert on the American eagle.
The building was financed by gifts of the trustees. It continues
to serve as the primary location of the biology department.
