7. Iris S. and Bert L. Wolstein Research Building
On October 16, 2003, the School of Medicine and University Hospitals of Cleveland dedicated the eight-floor Wolstein Research Building, named for two Cleveland-area benefactors. The building added 320,000 square feet of space for up to 700 researchers, as well as an auditorium, meeting rooms and public spaces.
Mr. Wolstein was founder and chairman emeritus of Developers Diversified Realty Corp. and founder and president of the Wolstein Group and Heritage Development Co., a major developer and operator of shopping centers.
