2. The Michelson-Morley Fountain

The Michelson-Morley Fountain commemorates the work of physics professor Albert Michelson, the first American to win a Nobel Prize in science (Physics, 1907) and chemistry professor Edward Morley. Their 1887 experiment with the speed of light paved the way for Einstein's Theory of Relativity.
