19. Adelbert Hall
Adelbert Hall is the administrative center of Case Western Reserve University. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is the original classroom building of Adelbert College. The building was a gift of Amasa Stone. In its early years, it also housed the college library as well as the offices of the college president and treasurer.
Originally built in 1882, Adelbert
Hall was gutted by fire on June 23, 1991. It has been completely
rebuilt on the inside and now again houses the Office of the
President.
