17. K.H. Smith Engineering and Science Building
The Kent Hale Smith Laboratory for Science and Engineering
was constructed in 1993 and is the home of the Department
of Macromolecular Science and Engineering. It comprises
90,000 gross square feet of floor space, providing 55,000 net
square feet of laboratories, classrooms and offices. It is
connected to A.W. Smith Building and the Case Quad by a third
floor bridge.
