Throwback Weekend

Signage for research ponds

This graphic, featuring the Painter Arch of Flora Stone Mather College for Women and the Red Cats and Rough Riders—former mascots of Western Reserve University and Case Institute of Technology—was developed in September 2005 to promote the Throwback Weekend event scheduled for February 2006. Advance planning by the client gave the artist the time necessary to create an image that evokes the nostalgic theme of the event, and to incorporate the graphic into related promotional materials.

Schubert Center for Child Development

Signage for research ponds

The Schubert Center for Child Development supports multidisciplinary research and education on children and childhood at Case Western Reserve University. Initiatives of the Schubert Center promote understandings of child development from infancy through adolescence, and in local, national, and international contexts. This abstract representation of a tree, symbolic of growth and development, serves to provide a unifying visual element throughout the Schubert Center's publications.
