Susan Griffith, the veteran of our media relations team, has worked at Case Western Reserve for 13 years. A former journalist, Susan was a reporter at the Cleveland Call & Post, covering education issues for four years. She was then a stringer for the Plain Dealer for 11 years, covering Northeast Ohio suburbs, before returning to the Call & Post. She worked her way up at the Call & Post from education editor to city editor, and also wrote an education column.
Susan is an avid photographer on and off campus. Many of her images have appeared in university publications and in local and national media. Her work titled "Leaf Impression" is featured in the 2008 FAVA six-state photography show.
Susan has a B.S. in journalism from Bowling Green State University. Both at and away from work, she is a voracious reader—she reads every faculty-written book that crosses her desk. Susan and her husband are the proud parents of two daughters.
