Lisa Chiu has worked at Case Western Reserve University since September 2003. Before that, she worked for a variety of print and online communications operations, including stints as a health care trade magazine editor in Los Angeles and as a Web producer for Internet startups in San Francisco. For three years, she was a freelance correspondent for People Magazine reporting to its West Coast bureau.
An alumna of the university, prior to joining the media relations team, she worked for the Office of Undergraduate Admission as a writer/editor and then as assistant director of marketing and communications. She has a B.A. in English from Case Western Reserve University and a master's degree in journalism from The Ohio State University. Outside of work, this celebrity gossip fanatic dreams of assembling an all-star team to win the "World Series of Pop Culture" and enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons.
