Sarah Johnson

director of marketing

Sarah joined University Marketing and Communications in fall 2009. She began her marketing career with healthcare institutions in the Cleveland area, working for both Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals. Recently, Sarah was recognized as a "Woman of Professional Excellence" by the YWCA. At Case Western Reserve University, she works closely with professionals from all schools and departments to create strategic marketing plans that identify and satisfy the unique goals of each area. Amy Raufman

director of development communications

Amy joined the university in 2007 having worked in fundraising communications at both the Cleveland Orchestra and Oberlin College. She began her career in book publishing as assistant editor at the Harvard Business School Press. Amy holds a master's degree in English and American Literature from the University of New Hampshire and a bachelor's degree in English from Chatham College. Tricia Schellenbach

director of communications

Tricia manages media relations, internal communications and news-related projects for University Marketing and Communications. She also serves as editor of the university's Think magazine and websiteboth of which she re-created in her first six months on the job. Tricia came to Case Western Reserve University in 2008 after serving as managing editor of Cleveland Clinic Magazine. Before that, she was a copy editor and columnist for the Akron Beacon Journal and occasional adjunct instructor at Kent State University. She holds a journalism degree from the E.W.
