Sarah joined University Marketing and Communications in fall 2009. She began her marketing career with healthcare institutions in the Cleveland area, working for both Cleveland Clinic and University Hospitals. Recently, Sarah was recognized as a "Woman of Professional Excellence" by the YWCA. At Case Western Reserve University, she works closely with professionals from all schools and departments to create strategic marketing plans that identify and satisfy the unique goals of each area. Bill was appointed the university's director of media relations and communications in September 2012. Prior to Case Western Reserve, Lubinger spent nearly 30 years as a newspaper journalist, the last two decades with The Plain Dealer in Cleveland as an editor, columnist and reporter covering various topics, from business and features to sports. Rebecca serves as the director of development communications, coordinating and writing communications products focusing on current/past donors and prospective donors in order to sustain and strengthen the relationship between Case Western Reserve and its donor constituency. Previously, Rebecca led communications efforts for USAID projects in the Middle East and served as a development specialist for a private international school in Ramallah. Rebecca earned a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University and a master’s degree in English and certification in nonprofit management from Case Western Reserve.
