Cleveland Public Transportation

Cleveland has a robust public transportation system that includes rapid transit trains as well as city buses. From the airport, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) operates the Red Line rapid transit rail service. Among its stops are Tower City Center in central downtown Cleveland, where you can change trains AND the Little Italy and Cedar Avenue stations just outside campus.

RTA rail service travel time is approximately 40 minutes from CLE airport to the East 105th and Cedar station. Frequency is about every 20 minutes on weekdays, 30 to 60 minutes on weekends and holidays when there are no major events downtown or around the city. For schedules and information, check RTA or call the RTAnswerline at 216.621.9500.
