CWRU Virtual Tours

Welcome to our on-line tours! These tours are designed to provide a quick look at points of interest which are, in some way, related to one another. We hope you find something here which will be to your liking-- and if the tour you were hoping to see isn't available, then by all means let us know!

No matter what you choose, however, we certainly hope you enjoy your tour!

To schedule a physical campus visit and tour, please visit the Office of Undergraduate Admissions page on Visiting CWRU for more information.

Available Tours

CWRU "Walking Tour" This is similar to the tour presented by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to visiting high school students, their parents, and other visitors to the CWRU campus. It provides an overview of both sides of campus, including historical facts and other interesting information. If you're looking for a broad introduction to the CWRU campus, this is the place to start!
Case Quad Tour This tour offers a full coverage of all the buildings in and near the main quad of the CWRU campus. It does not, at present, refer to sculpture or other non-building structures in the area.
Historical Buildings Tour CWRU has a long and varied history, and that fact is reflected in many of the buildings found on the CWRU campus. This virtual tour presents in-depth facts on nineteen of CWRU's most treasured historical buildings, and also provides a quick summary of the history of CWRU itself.
Cultural Institutions Tour Provides a quick look at six major cultural institutions in the University Circle area, including three museums, a botanical garden, and Severance Hall, home of the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra.

Other Tours

CWRUnet Tours Created by CWRUnet Services (CNS), these tours provide an overview of the networking infrastructure of CWRU, information about the kinds of services which are available, and a history of CWRUnet itself.

In general, the tours listed here will work in most any recent browser, although they'll probably look much better in browsers with a version number of 3.5 or later. There may be specific resources within the tours which require more advanced browsers, or which depend on certain plug-ins. If this is the case, you'll see a link which advises you of that fact and offers a link to download the needed software.
