SAGES Central


SAGES Central forms a visible center of intellectual and social activity at the heart of the CWRU campus. The quad-level design, at the main entrance of Crawford Hall, includes conference space for visiting fellows, faculty, and students; quiet study areas offering wireless access; a technology-enhanced seminar room; and the SAGES Cafe.
The SAGES Seminar Room

Located in Crawford 111, the SAGES Seminar Room is a glass-walled seminar room, equipped for technology. This Level 3 Technology Enhanced Classroom is home to seminars, colloquia, and other events all through the week. It seats about 20 people comfortably. SAGES events and classes have first priority for use of the space, but the room may be reserved for other university events. If you would like to reserve the SAGES Seminar Room, please email us to inquire about availability.

SAGES Cafe

The SAGES Cafe serves Peet's Coffee and Teas, lattes, soy drinks, and a lunch or snack menu including pizza and salad. The cafe remains open at night, and brings together people from all walks of campus life. Located in the quad level of Crawford Hall.

SAGES Administration and Fellows

The offices and work areas of SAGES Fellows, Presidential Fellows, and the SAGES administration, are all located in SAGES Central.

SAGES Wireless Study Stations

SAGES Central offers wireless access at each work station for students, faculty and visiting fellows needing a quiet place on campus to work or study.
