Transcripts


Case Western Reserve University transcripts are maintained by the Office of the University Registrar.* There are three ways to request a transcript:

On-Line Log in with your CWRU NetID and Password. Need help? See note 1 below.
Alumni or Former Students Read note 1 below.
Need to include a form from AMCAS or another organization? Read note 2 below.
Send a Form Use our pdf transcript request form (or jpg form) to submit a transcript request by mail, in person or by fax. Sorry, we don't open email attachments
In Person Stop by our office during normal business hours, Mon - Fri 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., unless it's one of these days when the university is closed. Click here for a campus map.
Bring photo ID such as a university ID card, driver's license or passport. We do not accept third party requests.  


Transcript Fees


Electronic Transcript (CHECK WITH RECIPIENT BEFORE ORDERING THIS) $3.50 per transcript. Only available via on-line system
Paper Transcript via U.S. Postal Service $5.00 per transcript
Paper Transcript via Express Courier $5.00 per transcript plus $21.00
Paper Transcript sent via Fax $10.00 per transcript
On line requests ADDITIONAL $2.25 per order except for electronic transcripts

ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Money Order (by mail or in person only), Personal Check (by mail or in person only), or Cash (in person only).


Important Information


  • It is the policy of Case Western Reserve University to include all academic information from all levels—undergraduate, graduate, and professional—on all transcripts.
  • Our standard turnaround time for all transcript requests is three business days, but we are often able to process requests within 24 hours depending on business cycle and peak processing periods (start/end of term, commencement, etc.).
  • Express Courier service only speeds up the delivery time, not the processing time, for your transcript request.

Note 1

If you have not used your CWRU network password in one year or more but know your CWRU network ID, please change your password at: https://its-services.case.edu/my-case-identity/password/change/. If you do not know your CWRU network ID, please contact the ITS Help Desk at 216.368.HELP (4357) and request your CWRU Network ID for alumni access.


Note 2

If you are ordering a paper transcript and need to include a form from AMCAS or another organization, do not use the on-line transcript ordering system. Please send a transcript request form.
