The following incident took place off campus but CWRU PD would like the campus community to be aware.
Location of incident: E.115th between Wade Park Av & Ashbury Av
Date of incident: 11/8/16
Time of incident: 12:15 am
Incident description: Two students were walking on E.115th Street when they were approached by an unknown male who demanded they turn over property. The students refused and after a brief struggle a cell phone and money were taken. The male then fled south on East 115th Street.
Suspect description: The description reported to police by the victims is a black male, approximately 6'2, 20 years of age, slender build, dreadlock hair style, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a gold watch.
Additional information: There was no mention of a weapon. The victims were not injured.
