CWRU, UH issue statement on affiliation agreement

CLEVELAND -- The following statement was issued today (December 11) by David H. Auston, president of Case Western Reserve University, and Farah M. Walters, president and chief executive officer of University Hospitals Health System:

"University Hospitals Health System and Case Western Reserve University are close to a new affiliation agreement, with only a few items remaining to be finalized. We have agreed to a speedy resolution of these issues. In the interim our relationship will continue to be governed by the current affiliation agreement."
