*Walk-in hours are available for questions and issues that can be resolved quickly, ordinarily in 10 minutes or less. Each of the deans is also available by appointment for longer discussions of issues related to your academic program and academic success at Case. Appointments can be made by calling the front desk in the Office of Undergraduate Studies: 368-2928. No appointments are required for walk-in hours.

The kinds of issues that can ordinarily be handled in walk-in hours include:

  • course withdrawals
  • complete withdrawal/leave of absence forms (though conversations about the decision to leave school and how you will spend your time away usually require a longer appointment)
  • course overloads
  • general education and other policy questions

Keep in mind that the flow of business for walk-in and RUSS hours is often unpredictable, so you may have to wait a bit if others are ahead of you. The front desk receptionist may suggest that you make an appointment or come back at another time if it looks like the wait will extend beyond the available time.
