RegistrationHow do I register on-line?Visiting students, are able to register for classes using SIS, the online registration system.

What is the first day that I can register?The first day that visiting students can register (either on-line or in person) for summer classes is April 13 . For a complete list of deadlines for adding or dropping a class, check the summer registration schedule. The deadlines are different depending on the summer session for which you are enrolled. Please make sure to consult the registration schedule for add and drop dates and for the last day of withdrawals for classes.
Logistics of Being on CampusHow and when must I pay tuition?The only invoice that you receive for your tuition will be via your Case email account; therefore it is very important to activate you Case account. The last day to pay for a summer course is July 15. However, invoices will be sent out before that time. For more specific information, contact the Bursar's Office (216-368-2226 or bursar@case.edu).
How and where do I get my Case ID card?Access Services, the department responsible for the issuance of ID cards is located in the basement of Crawford Hall. In order to obtain a Case ID card for the first time, you must bring
Make sure to hold on to your ID as your first ID card is free, but there is a replacement fee for cards that are lost or damaged. For more information on your Case ID, where you can use it and other options, check out the CaseOneCard site.
How do I get a parking permit and where can I park?There is very limited street parking available on campus. All who choose to park on campus must purchase a hangtag parking permit and display it on the rearview mirror of their vehicle.You may purchase your permit at the Parking Office in the basement of Crawford Hall (It is the same place that you would go for your ID card). Summer parking is sold on a temporary basis. Your permit becomes effective the day you purchase it and ends on the expiration date punched or written on the hangtag. There is no grace period at the end of that time. The charge is based on the lot assignment and the duration of the permit. University BookstoreThe University Bookstore is located in the Thwing Student Center. Textbooks, new and used, are available for purchase, along with school and Case memorabilia. Required course materials are sorted by class and professor. For more information, call 368-1661. Open 8:30AM to 5:30PM, Monday through Friday, and 10AM to 2PM on Saturdays.
Academic Polices and ProceduresWithdrawal Deadlines and ProceduresIf you wish to withdraw from a class, you must meet with Dean Hamel in the Office of Undergraduate Studies. Once approved, you must take the required forms to the Registrar's Office for processing. Please pay attention to the withdrawal deadlines. Undergraduate Student Handbook and Academic PoliciesThe Handbook for Undergraduate Students is intended to provide you with information about student life, campus resources, and academic policies and procedures. You are responsible for familiarizing yourself with requirements, regulations and deadlines that pertain to your academic program and activities. This includes academic integrity and attendance policies as well as University polices and procedures. The Handbook is available online. If you would like a hard copy, pleas stop by Sears 357 and request a copy.

Campus LibrariesThere are many libraries across campus that you can access. Listed below are a few of the main libraries. A complete list of libraries on campus can be found here. Kelvin Smith LibraryThe Kelvin Smith Library, open to all Case students, is the largest of the facilities comprising the University Library, which has a combined collection strength of 1.5 million items. Along with books and other printed material, the KSL offers online resources, research databases, and a helpful, experienced staff. For more information, call 368-3506. Open 9AM to 8:30PM Monday through Thursday, and 9AM to 5:30PM on Friday and Saturday. Allen Memorial LibraryThe Allen Memorial Medical Library comprises one half of the Cleveland Health Sciences Library (along with the Health Center Library ). It holds all of the clinical journals, which may be consulted in the Cushing Reading Room, and includes the 450 seat Ford Auditorium. It contains the Dittrick Medical History Center , consisting of the Dittrick Museum of Medical History , the Archives and Rare Book collection .
Astronomy LibraryThe Astronomy Library, located on the fifth floor of the Sears Building , houses the University's collections in the area of astronomy. Also accessible is a large array of astronomy-related journals and electronic resources. Open 9:30AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday. For more information, call 368-6701. Computer ResourcesThere are many computer resources available for students. In addition to the computer labs listed below, students with wireless cards in their computer are able to access the wireless network from most places on campus. You will often times see students sitting outside on the quad with their laptops checking email or doing work. PDELCThe Plain Dealer Electronic Learning Center (PDELC) is a computing facility located in 470 Sears. Attached to the Office of Educational Support Services, the PDELC contains state-of-art computer hardware and a friendly, helpful staff to answer your questions. Open 9AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday. Nord Hall Computer LabThe Nord Computer Lab is located in room 415 Nord. The lab includes 50 PC's running Windows XP, 4 Macintosh G4's running OS 10.3, laptop stations with Ethernet connections, a library of software, scanner, printers, and a copier. The lab reference desk may be reached at 368-5463. Open Monday – Thursday 9AM to 12AM, Friday 9AM to 6PM, Saturday 12PM to 6PM, and Sunday 12PM to 12AM. Campus MapTo help find your way around campus, you can check out the campus map. You can find a specific building in the drop down box at the bottom of the map to find the building for which you are looking. Or, if you click on the map in it will zoom in to a certain area and add numbers to the buildings and list the corresponding buildings on the side of the map.
Miscellaneous Class InformationPhysicsThe Department of Physics offers three different sets of introductory physics courses for students whose major requires a physics sequence. It is important to enroll in the class that is most appropriate for your major. For example, most people who are taking physics to fulfill a pre-med requirement take the physics 115/116 sequence. It is also recommended that you do not switch sequences after completion of the first course of a sequence.
