**The George Traub Scholarship will not be offered for the 2007-2008 academic year.
Purpose
The George S. Traub Memorial Undergraduate Research Fund was established to support current juniors and seniors who are pursuing degrees offered by the College of Arts and Sciences related to the history, politics, public policy, or economics of the Northern Ohio region.
George S. Traub was an Adelbert College graduate of the class of 1929 who managed his own business, the Traub Box Company. The College of Arts and Sciences is grateful to his widow, Mrs. Nina Traub, and his sons Ron and Willard for establishing the fund. Part of the endowment also comes from the Traub Fund at the Jewish Community Federation.
Application Procedure
- Applicants should submit an application, two-page description of the research project, specifically addressing how the research relates to the history, politics, public policy, or economics of the Northern Ohio region.
- A complete budget should be included, as should a timeline for completion of the project.
- Students should submit the application to the faculty member who will serve as advisor to the project. The faculty member should attach his/her evaluation of the research project and the budget request and submit the completed application electronically to Marcia Camino at marcia.camino@case.edu.
