UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES

Integrated B.S./M.S. Program

Students who are candidates for the B.S. in engineering, computer science, mathematics, natural sciences or statistics may apply to the Integrated B.S./M.S. Program. The program enables students to begin study towards the M.S. degree prior to completion of the B.S. degree, and allows 9 hours of credit to be counted towards both the B.S. and the M.S. degrees. Students in the program generally combine the senior project with the Master's thesis (plan A) or Master's project (plan B). Students must apply for and be accepted into the B.S./M.S. program before completing the last two semesters of their B.S. degree. Students wishing to pursue the M.S. in engineering or in computer science through the B.S./M.S. Program may obtain information from their department or Dean Hamel. Students wishing to pursue the M.S. in mathematics, a science, or statistics (not available for the 2008-2009 academic year) may obtain information from Dean Lynmarie Hamel in the Office of Undergraduate Studies, Sears 357, lxh5@case.edu.
