Throughout the past year, the Case Western Reserve community has worked together to display resilience, tenacity and empathy in response to the pandemic. During this season of expressing gratitude, we give thanks for the compassion and generosity demonstrated across our campus.
For those who are able, please consider extending that generosity by donating to this year’s Charity Choice campaign. This annual opportunity illustrates how the CWRU community can come together to make a meaningful impact in greater Cleveland.
If you are unsure of which group or organization to support, suggested agencies are below.
- United Way of Greater Cleveland is the leading convener and funder of partnerships focused on solutions for the community’s health and human service priorities. United Way makes a difference in the lives of 450,000 people throughout Greater Cleveland.
- Greater Cleveland Community Shares addresses the root causes of social problems facing our neighborhoods, our community and our region. Member organizations provide education, promote health care, protect children and women, advance home ownership, provide job training and employment, build neighborhoods and work to end discrimination.
- EarthShare Ohio connects environmental organizations with employers, people, and communities to protect our planet. EarthShare beneficiary organizations provide vital services in the areas of environmental education, pollution prevention, recreation and trails, natural resources conservation and more.
You may also consider donating to any other independent 501(c)(3) organization of your choice—through payroll deduction or check—as part of this campaign.
