Last Day to Register
The last day to register is the second Friday following the first day of classes (see the Academic
Calendar and Summer Registration and Withdrawal Deadlines). However, students registering after the first day of classes must pay a late registration fee of $25.00.
This deadline will be strictly enforced. The schedule at the close of the drop/add period constitutes the official
registration for that semester. Students may attend only those classes for which they have officially registered. The
University reserves the right to void the registration of any student who becomes ineligible for enrollment.
Last Day to Drop/Add
Drop/add forms may be obtained from the deans' offices, academic departments, or advisors. The last day of the drop/add
period is the second Friday following the first day of classes (see the Academic Calendar and Summer Registration and Withdrawal Deadlines). Courses
that are dropped on or before this date will be deleted from the student's academic record. Courses dropped after this date
will not be deleted and will be retained on the student's academic record with a grade of "W." The last day to withdraw
from a course is Friday of the eleventh week of classes (see the Academic Calendar and Summer Registration and Withdrawal Deadlines). No extensions
will be permitted. It is the student's responsibility to see that he/she is properly registered. Students registering in person will receive a
class schedule printout for any drop/add activity and will be officially registered as indicated and billed accordingly.
Changes in registration become effective on the date drop/add forms are processed by the University Registrar's office.
