CLASS LISTS - SPRING 2008

Class lists and faculty teaching schedules are available through the Case portal.

Note: Beginning Summer 2008 and forward all class lists and grade rosters will be in the new Student Information System (SIS). See Using the Class Roster for quick reference or Manuals and Guides for detailed help with new features.

Some faculty will see their class lists on the "Faculty" tab while others will only see a "Staff" tab where they will find their class lists.

Staff members with access to class lists can view them on the "Staff" tab.

There you may view or download class lists as well as upload a syllabus for each of your courses. The old style of class lists are still available here. In addition to class lists, if you are an advisor of record, you may view your advisees' SOLAR PINs, cumulative grade reports, and degree progress reports. Please see News and Announcements for more details on enhanced student data services. If you have a bookmark set for the old class lists page, please be sure to delete it and bookmark the portal instead.

Grade Sheet View of On-Line Class Lists

You may print your own grade sheets at any time via the Case Portal. Once logged in to the portal, just choose the faculty tab, go to the "My Schedule" portlet and click on the class list symbol (first icon to the right of the building and room information) next to the course you are teaching. At the top of the class list, there is a link to a grade sheet view. Just click on this and you may then print it from your browser. (If staff members in your department have rights to grant permits/view class lists, they will find the same information in the MySchedule portlet on the staff tab.)

Important note: The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) requires that personally identifiable information from the record of any student, other than directory information (unless the student requests that this also be suppressed), not be disclosed without prior written consent from the student. Click here for details on Case's FERPA interpretation. If you have any questions, please feel free to send us an email.
