GELS MEMBERSHIP, GUIDELINES, and APPLICATION
The Global Ethical Leaders Society (GELS) is a new elite student organization affiliated with the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence at Case Western Reserve University and is governed by a student administrative body. Membership is open to undergraduates, graduates, and professional students; however, membership is limited and candidates must obtain a faculty recommendation and complete an application prior to induction. In addition, all members are required to adhere to the organization’s Guidelines.
Discover how you can provide ethical leadership on issues ranging from environmental ethics to economic and social justice to conflict resolution and humanitarian intervention and beyond. By joining GELS, you can learn how to enhance your leadership skills, analyze complex moral issues, inspire others to support ethical policies, highlight your commitment to Global Ethical Leadership for all to see, and play an active role in promoting moral progress on a global scale!
In addition, there are opportunities for GELS members to receive funding for experiential learning projects, conference attendance, research, and other activities.
If you would like to become a GELS member, please complete the application by obtaining your faculty recommendation, and forward it to firstname.lastname@example.org with GELS in the subject line. Upon careful selection, applicants will be notified of their acceptance into the GELS organization.
