Room Reservations Policies
Please note that the Inamori Rooms are primarily classrooms and Inamori Center event rooms, therefore availability will be on a first come first serve basis around scheduled class times and Inamori Center events.
Room capacity for an event is 100 people.
If you are requesting availability after 6pm Monday-Friday or any time on Saturday or Sunday, you must request the time a minimum of 1 week in advance. This is because you will need to be given special access to Crawford Hall, since it is locked during those times.
The default arrangement of the rooms at the Inamori Center is a 2 conference style hollow square. If this is not the arrangement you need, it is your responsibility to arrange the furniture. You are welcome to move the furniture yourself unless you are removing the furniture from the room. In that case you must contact University Movers. Please do not use the tables as cart because they are not sturdy enough.
There must be a minimum of 30 minutes between classes and/or events that do not have catering. There must be a minimum of 1 hour between classes and/or events that do have catering. We need time to go through the room to check for and document any damages that may happen. On occasion we can accommodate early deliveries for events but you must first check that the calendar is open and such space is available.
You are responsible for making sure the room is put back to the default hollow square. There is a diagram in each room of how to put it back. If you leave the room in disarray you will be subject to a penalty charge of $100.
You are welcome to have food at your events. You are responsible for arranging any catering. If you are having the event catered, you must schedule a timely clean up. If your catering is not removed within an hour you will be subject to a penalty charge of $100.
Also, please clean up after your event. If there is trash left on the tables and floor you will be subject to a penalty charge of $50 per room. Please contact facilities to change the garbage bags if you are having an event with food.
The event space is a level 2 technology room. There is a projection screen, projector, and computer with internet access for your use. You are welcome to connect a laptop or bring a flash drive to connect. If you have further questions regarding the technology in the room you must contact MediaVision. If you would like to set up a time to come in and familiarize yourself with the technology in the room, we would be happy to help you schedule a time to do so before your event.
We do not have phones in the room, nor do we have phone lines set up for use. We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
