Joint Research

Fisk student, Kiedra Kincaid, meets with Case Deputy Provost, Lynn Singer, during a summer research program at Case
Case Western Reserve University is one of the nation's leading research institutions. Case ranks among the top 20 private universities receiving federal funding for research and supports nearly 100 designated research centers and laboratories.
Fisk University is one of the country's most renowned liberal arts colleges. So a collaboration between the two institutions would, of course, include inquiry and discovery.
Research internships and residencies abound in summer and are available throughout the year at Case Western Reserve. Nearly three out of every four Case undergraduates participate in research projects with faculty, and as a result of the partnership, Fisk students can work right along side of them.
From Case's National Science Foundation-funded initiatives to increase the number of women in science and engineering research to its recently awarded multimillion-dollar national Science and Technology Center to explore the combination of polymer science and engineering with the physical sciences, research opportunities at Case are limitless.
And thanks to the Case-Fisk Partnership, these options are not limited to Case students. Fisk students and faculty also can experience learning in the most distinctive ways at Case.
