About the Partnership
Students in front of Fisk's Cravath Administration Building
From its student ambassadors to its active task force and a forthcoming alumni advisory group, the Case-Fisk Partnership is all about the education and research, the differences and similarities, the people and personalization that are Case and Fisk.
"From its inception, I knew that this partnership would be a win-win for both institutions," said Adrienne Lash Jones, Ph.D., emeritus associate professor of African American Studies at Oberlin College and a Case-Fisk alumna. "As a graduate of both universities, I know firsthand the strengths that each can offer to students and faculty, and I also knew how these strengths could be used to enhance the overall education experience.
"Students and faculty from both institutions are provided the opportunity to work together in classrooms on-site as well as from a distance, with each learning new techniques, theories, and information from sometimes differing perspectives and experiences," Jones continued. "This is a model for teaching and learning that can and should be replicated, as our world becomes smaller through the magic of technology.
"I am excited about the possibilities that such a partnership brings for everyone involved," she added, "and look forward to its continued expansion into a variety of disciplines."
