Complete the Faculty Climate Survey; Share Your Feedback by March 20

To the members of our Case Western Reserve University faculty,

On Tuesday, March 5, all Board-appointed faculty, full-time lecturers and research faculty hired on or before November 1, 2023, will receive a link to complete the 2024 Faculty Climate Survey. This faculty climate survey—our first since 2018—was developed in collaboration with the Faculty Senate Committee on Wellbeing, Community and Engagement with the co-chairs being Susan Case and Francesca Brittan, along with Institutional Research. We strongly encourage you to complete this survey, as we need all voices in this process and your responses will help us to identify strengths, areas for improvement and current faculty concerns. Please note the following:

  • The survey will remain open until Wednesday, March 20. The survey takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and will be sent from president@surveys.case.edu. Respondents can save their progress while taking the survey.
  • All responses are confidential—respondents cannot be identified and completed surveys cannot be connected to any individual faculty member.
  • The survey covers key areas impacting the faculty experience including mentoring, work-life integration and workload, among others.
  • Survey results will be shared, published, and used to inform our way ahead.

We appreciate your participation in the survey and your thoughtful responses. Together, we will further develop a campus community where faculty continue to thrive.

Sincerely,

Eric W. Kaler
