Child Care Survey: Please Participate by March 15

To the Case Western Reserve University Community:

As a reminder, we encourage all faculty, students, post-docs and staff with children ages five and under or who are considering becoming a parent within the next five years to complete the university’s 2023 Child Care Survey. The survey will remain open until 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 15. Please note that all survey responses remain confidential and individual responses are non-identifiable.

The survey will help the university to understand:

  • How, when and where members of the campus community use child care for children who are not yet school aged;
  • Anticipated child care needs and preferences; and
  • Whether the university needs to adjust current child care support programs and/or create new ones, including the need for an early childhood child care center on campus.

This survey was created in collaboration with the Faculty Senate Committee on Women, the Staff Advisory Council and the Faculty Parents Group.

Thank you in advance for your time and for helping us to collect more information about our community’s child care needs.

Sincerely,

Eric W. Kaler, President

Ben Vinson III, Provost and Executive Vice President
