SEVA PROGRESS

We reached our fundraising goal of $2,000 for the spring semester 2012. The two main fundraising sources were the WISER Wednesdays, held weekly in Hovorka Atrium, and a benefit dinner. The Seva Benefit Dinner held on April 4th, 2012 at the Thwing Ballroom had over 67 people in attendance.

SEVA PLANS

We plan to generate a fund for a scholarship for two girls pursuing an engineering/science/medicine degree.

We plan to establish a summer program for WISER students in Bangalore, India. WISER students will work with girls from local schools on projects ranging from family planning to finances and science/engineering education.
