Faculty Senate, Committee on the Status of Women Faculty

The Case Faculty Senate is composed of elected members of the Case University Faculty, apportioned according to a formula specified in the Constitution of the University Faculty, found in the Faculty Handbook. In addition, there is an undergraduate student, a graduate student and a professional school student selected by their respective constituencies.

The purpose of the Association is to increase the resources and advance the interests of Flora Stone Mather College alumnae and Case Western Reserve University; to render financial aid to worthy students enrolled in the University; and to further the educational interests of the alumnae.

University Women's Club/Women's Club School of Medicine

The Case Western Reserve University Women’s Club and the Women’s Club School of Medicine were formed to build friendships and promote communication among the women of Case Western Reserve University.

Membership is open to all wives of faculty members and administrators, women of the faculty and the administration of Case Western Reserve University and affiliated hospitals, and others as approved by the executive boards.

 

Weatherhead Women in Business

To provide professional and social development opportunities for women at the Weatherhead School of Management and to share the diversity of women’s experiences and perspectives with the WSOM community. The association represents women's issues to the WSOM administration and facilitates an exchange of ideas and information with the student community and with other women's organizations and business groups in Cleveland.

Women's Law Association

As a professional Women's Law Association, closely affiliated with the Ohio State Bar Association, we hope that you will give us the opportunity to enrich your legal education. The Women's Law Association provides a forum for all students to discuss issues that are important to women in law school and in their future careers. We seek both men and women to contribute, benefit and participate in the Women's Law Association in the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. As a group, we seek to be a prominent voice in the law school community and to encourage a sense of inclusiveness for women in the law school. We strive to promote the ideal of women providing women with a source of support, strength and guidance. We plan the Women's Law Association's programming in order to strengthen our organization and empower the student body to effectuate change.

 

Women's Studies at CASE

Women's Studies is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students to think critically and creatively by employing gender as a primary category of analysis. The program is set up to examine a variety of issues of specific interest to women and of general interest to scholars of gender studies across a variety of diverse cultural and historical settings.
