Soapbox is thrilled to announce our TENTH session of the wildly popular Feminist Boot Camp: Summer 2012

A transformative week of feminism in action that can’t be found anywhere else. Hosted in NYC by Manifesta authors and activists, Jennifer Baumgardner and Amy Richards.

Are you a feminist looking for a summer immersion program unlike any other? Want to get behind the scenes of some of the leading organizations in the world of feminist activism? Want to build community with fellow feminists from around the country (and the world)? Look no further!

Feminist Boot Camp (FBC) for students, recent grads, and any other non-professors is June 3 – 9th, 2012.
There is an optional 3- day extension to this program that will conclude the evening of June 12th. 

Please arrive in NYC the morning of Sunday June 3rd; you can depart anytime on Saturday, June 9th.

The first ever Feminist Intensive for professors and staff is June 20 – 23, 2012.
Please arrive in NYC by the evening of Tuesday, June 19th; you can depart anytime on June 24th (Sunday).

What will we do?

Each day is organized by theme—Reproductive Justice, Sexual Power, Feminist Art, Philanthropy, and more—and we always include a Career Day that offers concrete information for entering the work world.

The FBC Intensive for professors and staff features a smaller group and a shorter week with longer days and activities catered to professional and personal development.
