Student Information System : Campus Wide Information Sessions
Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn more about the new Student Information System (SIS). The SIS Implementation Team is pleased to announce that we will be presenting two campus-wide information sessions to demonstrate the functionality of the new Student Information System. The University will go live with the searchable schedule of classes on February 18, 2008 with more go lives to follow throughout the spring and summer. We strongly encourage you to attend the appropriate session to learn more about the new system and how it will affect you. Students, Faculty and some members of Staff will be interacting with the new system on a regular basis.
The sessions have been scheduled for the following dates/times:
Students
Date: February 8, 2008
Time: 12:45 pm – 1:45 pm
Place: Strosacker Auditorium
This session will be tailored towards how Case students will use the system. Topics will include how to access SIS and a Student Center overview to include class schedule, advisor information, the new degree audit report, financial information and personal information like viewing and updating your address information. We will expand on the capabilities of searching the schedule of classes, enrolling in classes, viewing grades and more…
Faculty and Staff
Date: February 1, 2008
Time: 12:45 pm – 1:45 pm
Place: Strosacker Auditorium
This session will give a brief overview of how students will use the system but the main focus will be on features relevant to Instructors and Advisors. Topics will include how to access SIS, what Instructors/Advisors can see in the Faculty Center - teaching schedules, final exam schedules, class rosters, and advisee information. We will also expand on the capabilities of the online class roster, on-line submission of grades, viewing advisee information, advisement reports and more…
