Communications Report:
The committee shared the SAC representative survey results. A list of communication tools was presented to the Council. The committee will begin work on a SAC information triptych for display purposes to be ready for the Benefits Fair on December 1,2. Communications Committee will meet Wednesday, October 20, at 3 p.m. in Adelbert Hall, Room 351.
Community Services Report:
Community Services Committee will meet Thursday, October 21, at 1 p.m. in the Cleveland Room at Thwing Center. The committee will discuss participation in a new activity (other than March of Dimes WalkAmerica) for this year, joining a work shift for Habitat for Humanity, as well as, developing plans for a holiday season "drive."
Elections Report:
The committee welcomes all the new members to the Council. The new members and the statistics from the election can be found at the Web site page 1999 Results. The committee will discuss the upcoming calendar and meeting times at its first meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 2:30 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 604.
Fringe Benefits Report:
Fringe Benefits Committee will meet Thursday, October 14, at 8:30 a.m. in Adelbert Hall, Room 1. The committee will discuss possible yearly objectives and respective priorities.
Staff Policy Report:
Submitted recommendation for office temperature and construction policies. The committee plans to review supervisory process issues for performance management. Personnel Policy Committee will meet Wednesday, October 27, at 10:30 a.m. in Adelbert Hall, Room 351.
Staff Recognition Report:
The committee first project is to seek nominations for the President's Award for Distinguished Service. Staff Recognition Committee will meet Thursday, October 7, at 12 p.m. in Adelbert Hall, Room 351.
Staff Training and Development Report:
The employee resource center materials are now available in the Kelvin Smith Library. Staff Training and Development will meet Wednesday, October 20, at noon in Adelbert Hall, Room 1.
