SAC Staff Recognition Committee

Mission

The Staff Recognition Committee shall help organize programs and events that recognize and reward staff members for their contributions to the University.

Objectives

• Accept and review nominations for the President's Award for Distinguished Service (pdf) and recommend candidates to the President.
• Provide assistance to University departments who sponsor functions for the employees (i.e., the annual Staff Party on the Quad).
• Continue to seek out new ways of acknowledging the many contributions of the University staff.
• Provide assistance with other committees on the Staff Advisory Council when needed.
