SAC Staff Recognition Committee

Mission

The Staff Recognition Committee shall help organize programs and events that recognize and reward staff members for their contributions to the University.

Objectives

• Accept and review nominations for the President's Award for Staff Excellence (pdf) and recommend candidates to the President.
• Provide assistance to University departments who sponsor functions for the employees (i.e., the annual Staff Party on the Quad).
• Continue to seek out new ways of acknowledging the many contributions of the University staff.
• Provide assistance with other committees on the Staff Advisory Council when needed.

Committee Meetings

Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at noon. The location of our meetings will alternate between Tomlinson Hall and Thwing's "Wack-a-doo" unless noted.
