The Staff Educational Enhancement Program is available to staff members at Case Western Reserve University.
This program was established in fall 2007 as a result of funds obtained from the University Gala Ball held on March 17, 2007.
The program is comprised of:
The Staff Educational Enhancement Fund (SEEF) which can be used for textbooks, certification, on-line courses, courses off campus, or out-service training (conferences, conventions, professional association meetings or workshops) not funded under regular university benefits. Funds may not be used for travel related expenses (food, transportation, lodging, etc.). Staff are eligible to receive awards two semesters per academic year from the Staff Educational Enhancement Fund.

The Eastwood-Inamori Staff Educational Scholarship (SEC) in partnership with the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence, accepts applications from staff who are pursuing leadership training in ethics and excellence at the Weatherhood School of Management. Awards are given once a year.

To participate in the Case Staff Educational Enhancement Program, an official request application must be
submitted.
Staff are only eligible to apply for one of the two awards listed above.
Deadlines for submitting application forms are as follows:
Fall 2009 -- September 1, 2009
Spring 2010 -- January 1, 2010
Summer 2010 -- May 1, 2010
Verification of payment (i.e. receipt) must be submitted for reimbursement.
Staff Advisory Council's Training & Development Committee is responsible for audit documentation,
approval of funding for recipients, and distribution of funds. Funds will be distributed equitably and may not cover all of the amount requested.

If you wish to contribute to the Staff Educational Enhancement Program, checks can be made out to Case Western Reserve University, indicating SEEF as the recipient, and then sent to Kathleen Dowdell or Kathleen O'Linn.
