NRC Faculty Questionnaire
Faculty questionnaires will be distributed directly to faculty by the NRC's contractor, Mathematica Policy Research. Names of eligible faculty and corresponding programs have been provided by Graduate Studies. Faculty will be sent a login and password and asked to complete the questionnaire online.
Participation in the survey is voluntary, and data will be kept confidential. The NRC will not share any responses with Case, and we will not be told which faculty members have responded to the survey.
We have prepared a tip sheet to provide more information on some of
the questions and let you know what material to have on hand. Please
read the sheet BEFORE beginning the survey. Click here to access the Faculty Questionnaire Tip Sheet.
Results of NRC assessments are used widely throughout higher education. The last study, published in 1995, was criticized for relying primarily on subjective ratings of programs. This year's study expects to address those concerns by collecting a wider range of data from faculty, students, and programs.
NRC Program Questionnaire
Each of the Case programs included in the NRC study must submit a
Program Questionnaire that asks about characteristics of the program. Graduate Studies will fill in as much of the Program Questionnaire as
possible, but some of the information is only available at the
departmental level. This table shows which items we will complete
centrally, and which we are asking programs to complete: NRC Program Questionnaire: Who Does What.
Login information for the web questionnaire has been sent to program chairs and graduate coordinators.
