ï Established in 1968, NABSW advocates to address important social issues that effect the health and welfare of the Black community. The organization has many chapters throughout the United States and the Caribbean in addition to several affiliate groups in Africa.
ï The LSWO is a progressive social work organization and is a leader in the development of recruitment and retention strategies over the last 10 years. For the past 6 years, the LSWO has focused on cultural competency / responsiveness training. The LSWO has provided trainings at major social work programs.
