Child Care

This list of local day care providers is offered as a quick list of options available near the Case Western Reserve Uiversity campus.

More complete service is provided through our free program EASE@work. Whether you are an expectant parent or have children well into their teens, you will receive personalized consultation and assistance in locating child care services with the help of a child care specialist. This service allows you to access a database of child care provider resources and links to several community resources in and around this area. A child care specialist provides referrals and can offer information on how to evaluate the quality of child care programs or providers. The child care specialist can also provide consultation and education on child development and parenting issues, written information and practical tools such as booklets, checklists and guides. Referrals to community services include:

  • Day care centers
  • Family day care home providers
  • In-home providers
  • Before/after school programs Preschool/Headstart programs
  • Summer programs
  • Emergency/temporary/mildly sick care programs
  • "Special needs" programs

To use this Child Care Service, simply call 216-241-3273 locally or 1-800-521-3273 nationwide. To conduct your own search for childcare, visit the website at http://www.easeatwork.com/cust_resources/. Enter the ID Name of "CWRU" and the Password of "ease". Choose Child Care from the menu on the left side of the page and you will be directed to the database of child care resources.
