Equipment
Buzzer systems
- Academic
Hallmarks (Knowledge Master Open) sells the Logitek Quiztron III
Deluxe system.
- While you should order replacement parts or repairs through Logitek,
order your system from Academic Hallmarks.
- Academic Quiz Team Buzzer Systems
- Fairly inexpensive system, we recommend the table-top model.
- AceGame,
Limited
- Buzzer system for British academic teams
- Electramatic ("The Judge")
- Okay, they don't have a web site yet, but they make one of the
most popular (unpopular) systems used by college programs to date. Very
compact, and rather inexpensive (less than $400 for a 10-player Judge).
- 1815 Jefferson St NE

- Groupics System
- You can get as many bells and whistles (or in this case, the
"talking microchip" version) as you want.
- J. C. Electronics
- A nice web page, though there is no cost information available
online. As long as you don't mind the lights looking like firemen's hats.
- JEM Designs
- It's a nice little system with enough of the minimal features
to run a fairly good match, except a clock (but who needs that).
- Novel Electronic Designs
- This company's system is used for the Illinois High School Scholastic
Bowl Championships.
- Quik Pro
- Specialty Design Corporation's popular "Quik Pro" buzzer system,
it's fairly inexpensive and rather popular. However, sometimes it is easy
for things to break.
- QuizCo QuizMaster, Boise
ID
- Looks like a pretty nice system. Lights for each contestant
as well as for each team (moderator's box). "Isn't this the system that
'quacks'???"
- Quiz
Machines, Johnson-Chadderton Enterprises, Knoxville IL
- Quiz Pro 2000, Computer Products
for Education, Kingston PA
- This system hooks up to a computer and can help keep score, deliver
questions, and display scores.
- Quizzer,
Madison WI
- Yes, you can have 14-15 people play on one system at one time.
The auto-timer is a bit of a pain, but it is a nice system.
- TieBreaker System, North

- Sho-Me Smart
System from Triple Q Questions
