6:06:2005 :: The 2005-2006 CWRU-hosted High School Tournament Schedule is now posted! Coaches check it out in our Tournaments section.

5:15:2005 :: The members list and Hall of Fame have been updated, and new officers have been selected. Congratulations to Roger Cheng, President; Scott McMichael, Vice President; Shaan Gandhi, Treasurer; Erin Salter, Secretary; and Samuel Rivier, Webmaster.

4:19:2005 :: TRASHionals was held last weekend in Pittsburg, and results are up (requires Internet Explorer). The Case team, Tommy Vercetti's Most Favorite Ho, fell back a bit in the prelims but stomped the finals for second place in Bracket 6. Congratulations to Two (Z), the team-high scorer with 23.18 ppg, and to the rest of the team: Shamon (Shannon Crock), Jeff (Jeffrey Hanson), and John (Jon Chang).

4:12:2005 :: NAQT Nationals (ICT) was held this past weekend in lovely New Orleans during the lovely Cajun Festival where many lovely women were flashing the crowd. More importantly, results are up. Congratulations to Shaan Gandhi for finishing 5th place inidividually in Div II, and to the rest of the team: Paul Bach, Roger Cheng, and Sam Rivier, with Jeff Hanson coaching. Case had some solid wins but lost a lot of close matches to finish 23rd in Div II, with a final record of 4-9.

3:24:2005 :: The Great Lakes Regional Academic Championship (GLRAC) results are in from last Saturday. Congratulations to Detroit Catholic Central A on their win in the finals against Solon A. Check out other results and schedule updates in the Tournaments section.

1:06:2005 :: NAQT Sectionals (SCT) was held yesterday, and results are in. Congratulations to Chicago A for winning overall Division I, Chicago C for winning undergraduate Division I, and Michigan C for winning Division II. That information and the GLRAC invitation are available in our Tournaments section.

1:31:2005 :: Buzzerpalooza! 2005 was held last Saturday, and the results are in. Get information on this Saturday's SCT Sectionals in our Tournaments section. Finally, our NSC99 high school tribute packet in our Quizzes section has been temporarily taken down to fix a question error (the pdf font needs to be changed). Hopefully this results in very few unnecessary infanticides.

1:25:2005 :: Michigan MLK tournament results are in at http://www.collegequizbowl.org/MLK2005/2005MichiganMLK_standings.html, so check them out. We, well, we put up a good fight, I guess. But we all blame Gandhi.

12.09.2004 :: Coaches: Mideast NAQT Sectional Championship Tournament invitation is up and available, so get your team registered! Check the Tournaments section.

11.29.2004 :: We need packets for GLRAC, and Michigan competitors also need to write their questions by Dec. 31. If you're not sure how to write questions, check out the UMichigan website. Also, we are looking at meeting next Monday for veterans to begin replacing our outgoing seniors. Stay tuned to Jeff's emails for more info.

11.15.2004 :: Schedule for Spring semester is up! Practices will continue for the rest of the semester sans finals week. I'll try to convince Jeff to throw us a party, too.

11:07:2004 :: TRASH Regionals results are up. Congratulations to Mike Keenan Employment Agency for going undefeated in 11 rounds, winning The Legend of Max Bracket, and to Reynold's Apartment Extreme Playset, winning Maxx Unlimited Bracket. Congratulations also to Michigan for placing 2nd and having a short name.

11:01:2004 :: Rochester ACF results up and available in the stats section. Congratulations to our all-freshman team who put up a strong effort against Div I and II schools to finish fourth!

10.29.2004 :: Rochester ACF is this weekend, so make it happen, team, like we made it happen at Rochester FDIC last month.

We need readers and helpers for TRASH Regionals before we can put in a house team, so if anyone has time to spare that weekend, please do so, because reading's a lot of fun and so's competing.

10.25.2004 :: Celebrity Shoot results are in, also. Congratulations to team Copley A for, you know, winning. More information available in the Tournaments section.

Members section is now updated and operational! If anything on it is offensive, please email the webmaster (me). If you don't like what I wrote for you (which is usually something taken from people who have graduated already, especially since I used their names) email me and I'll send you the questionnaire.

The new buzzer system is in. For those who haven't seen it, it's got black hand thingies with a box that kinda lights up when you press the thing.

10.11.2004 :: TRASH Jr. Bird results are in! See Tournaments for more info.

All practices cancelled this week due to midterms, but if you absolutely can't go without trivia, like me, you can look through some of the stuff on our soon-to-be-update Links section.

10.05.2004 :: TRASH Jr. Bird tournament update: Another school (Michigan) wants to compete, so this Saturday we will probably be going down to the tournament as scheduled. If not, we will have a scrimmage at home with Youngstown State. Monitor the site and your email for updates. If you would like to compete or read, email Jeff. To help out, a new schedule section has been added for team members to check out practice times and future tournaments.

Our great president Jeff has just sent out the money order for a new buzzer system, so we may have to say goodbye to the Judge, which, if you didn't know, stopped working in myriad ways at Rochester.

09.27.2004 :: Rochester Tournament results are in! Check out the stats section for detials. Quick summary: CWRU A got 2nd overall, freshman Victor Du got 4th individual.

09.23.2004 :: Rochester Tournament == TOMORROW! (Friday)! w00t!

09.22.2004 :: CELBRITY SHOOT 2004 information now available!!!

So if you're a coach or president or something, get it here!

With that, my name is Samuel Rivier and I am the new Case Trivia Club webmaster. I hope to fulfill the duties entrusted to me to the best of my abilities and not tarnish the reputation of the glorious school that has so quickly granted our application for server webspace etc. etc. etc.

Look for updates all through the week, team. Also, in the interest of ensuring that the content on this site is accurate and is not harming the privacy or reputation of people and institutions no longer affiliated with the club, I will be disabling several links.

Finally, thanks a lot to our new faculty website coordinator, Prof. David Singer, who after an extremely short three-hour notice has accepted legal responsibility for anything I screw up on this site, at least for the remainder of the semester.

12.30.2002 :: New Website!

Our new website, with a brand new look and user-friendly interface, is officially up and running!  Check out all the sections on the left hand side of this screen.  Check the Tournaments section for Spring 2003 CWRU tournament information.  Current Tour information will be in shortly!
