Scholarship

Kappa Alpha Theta's beginning can be traced back to our highest aim - Scholarship.

Our first members were the first women students at Indiana Asbury, women who were looking for ways to make friends and find support and encouragement for their academic pursuits. At CWRU, Thetas have study groups and mentors who help each sister to achieve her goals in academics.

Scholarship is more than just grades - it is education in general. As an organization, we want to provide education outside the classroom that helps you achieve your full potential scholastically.

Kappa Alpha Theta's strong commitment to excellence in education extends to Fraternity programs such as the Balanced Woman Member Education Program, Greek Edu Program, and Educational Leadership Consultant Program.

Additional Fraternity efforts for excellence focus on leadership development. Many opportunities for leadership developments exist within each individual chapter structure, as well as larger programs - such as District Leadership Conferences, Grand Conventions and The LeaderShape Institute.
