CURRENT SYMPOSIUM
2011 is shaping up to be one of the most turbulent years in history. This timely symposium is designed to examine both the application of international law in times of crisis and whether these events are pushing international law itself to the brink of crisis, with panels examining developments in Northern Africa and the Middle East, climate change, international economic law, universal jurisdiction, piracy, and the war on terrorism.
This Symposium features an address by the Hon. Richard Goldstone, who served as Justice of the South African Constitutional Court, Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda.
