2002 Lake Erie Model UN Conference Results

CWRU attended the 9th Annual Lake Erie Model UN competition from October 23-27 in Ashtabula, OH, and fared extremely well in the largest Kent conference to date.

Case brought home seven awards, including two by new members Justin Ford, teaming with Bobby Detwiler in SC III; and Veronica Norman in the OIC.

CWRU also brought home 3rd place as a team in the conference. Here's how the team standings came out:

In all, the conference went very well, and we fared extremely well against a much improved field this year, with 53% of the delegation earning awards. We also could have done much better in the team standings if we would have received the number of awards that we deserved. Here are the people that attended, and awards that were earned:
