2002 Georgetown Model UN Conference Results

By BOBBY DETWILER

The Model UN Club ventured down to Washington, D.C. to compete in the Georgetown National Collegiate Security Conference, held from October 17th to the 20th, 2002.

This was the first time that CWRU made a trip to G-Town, and came back with one award, with Chiazor Igboechi tallying an Excellent Delegate award in the ICJ.

This is a huge success for the club, becuase we never attended this conference before, and we received assignment just a few days before the conference. Here are the people that attended the conference:

International Court of Justice
United Kingdom Chiazor Igboechi Excellent
AdHoc on Peacekeeping
Republic of Korea Jim Moratti
SpecPol (GA 4th Committee)
Jamaica Amit Rana
Summit of Arab States
Bahrain
Ali Maliz
DISEC
Republic of Korea Luke Marino
Lithuania Roman Perkis
